One thing I love about the farmer’s markets is that I get to make new friends. As a stay-at-home mom with four kids, I was always looking for the chance to have some adult conversation, any type of social interaction. And I mean anything. As long as it didn’t involve juice boxes or an argument over the latest happy meal toy.
I’ve written before about the local businesses GMK has partnered with. But I’m not sure I’ve stressed enough what an important role these partnerships play in my life. When local venders team up, the sense of community is strengthened by the rallying of beliefs in each other’s products and work ethic.
